THOMAS HARDY ALE 1990 250ML - 4 pack "Scarce, subtle and complex, Thomas Hardy’s Ale is the beer enthusiast’s equivalent of rare cognac. Bottle-conditioned to mature in the bottle like fine wine, this old ale/barley wine will improve with age for at least 26 years (and we’re still counting!)." These have been stored in a climate controlled cellar since original purchase. They are in great condition and come with original cardboard container.
Ultra Rare Vintage Vertical Epic 02.02.02. by Stone Brewery! This beer was created on 02.02.02 by Stone Brewery to be enjoyed in December 2012 as a part of their Vertical Epic Series. It was the first one created in this Epic Series and only 300 cases of it were produced making it a very rare vintage, especially since most beer drinkers are not able to resist drinking their beer for so long! This bottle has been tucked away, stored & sealed tight and in its original case for over fourteen years. Stone Brewery created this series "to provide the beer connoisseur with the flavor equivalent of a Mozart Symphany with multiple movements." Lee Chase, a master brewer at Stone, said that it is an Imperial (double) White Ale that was brewed without any candy sugar. Here is the original Stone description for Vertical Epic '02: A new Vertical Epic will be released every year, with the goal being to collect them all and have a Vertical Epic tasting once the final Epic is released on 12/12/12. Each new Stone Vertical Epic Ale will be release one YEAR, one MONTH and one DAY apart. Vertical Epic 02/02/02 was not brewed "to style". Instead, we tried to create something new. It's triple-ish in nature, with wit character, coriander and orange peel, and has way more hops than either a Belgian triple or a Wit would. Belgian yeast was used. Belgian Strong Ale is the closest category that fits -- Greg Koch, Stone Brewing CEO. This listing is for one (1) unopened bottle of the Stone Vertical Epic 02-02-02

As with any good epic, in lies the promise of larger-than-life experiences, These bottle are specifically designed to be aged until sometime after December 12th, 2012. Each one unique to it's year of release. Each with its own "twist & turn" in the plotline. Each one released one year, one month and one day from the previous year's edition.
22 oz bottle released in 2005, this is Stone's now most legendary and rarest bottle! Bottled only for initial donors to Stone's expansion project almost 10 years ago, this has never been distributed and bottles essentially never go on sale anymore!
I really do not know how many bottles were produced but I do know this one is rare. It has been properly cellared since day 1. Shipping included. Paypal preferred however I will accept a check and ship once cleared.
I won this in 2000. After grand plans to open it to much fanfare, we tried some cheaper bottles of Sam Adams triple boch, and realized we hated it. It's been stored in my basement ever since, because I kept telling myself I would eventually want to use the beautiful wooden box. I haven't yet, so surely it should go to a collector.
Cut & pasted from the listing that led me to believe it still has value:
Extremely rare, unopened, bottle of Samuel Adams Millennium Ale MMM with custom drawstring bag and matching cherry wood case. (I can't find a number on it anywhere, but I'm also trying not to handle it too much). Signed by Jim Koch.
History of Samuel Adams Millennium: "Released in 2000, Samuel Adams® Millennium is the result of The Boston Beer Company founder Jim Koch's desire to create an astonishing, once-in-a-lifetime beer to commemorate the new millennium. Packaged in a unique, cobalt blue bottle with platinum lettering, finished with a natural cork and a hand dipped wax seal with an “M” monogram (Millennium) in the top of the wax seal. This unique bottle features a custom drawstring cloth bag with bottle insignia, nestled in a matching cherry wood box. Only 3,000 750 ml bottles were crafted; making it the most limited edition Samuel Adams® beer ever offered. Each bottle was hand-signed by Jim Koch. “It's very rare to see one out today, but if you stumble on one, buy it - because you'll probably never get another chance!" Beer Advocate Magazine rates this beer with the very rare rating of 98 – 100 (WORLD CLASS!) and a must have for the true beer lover or collector.
