Description
(2) bottles from New Glarus, one 750ml of Serendipity Fruit Ale (2012) and one 12 oz. of Enigma (Fall 2012). The cap and neck of the Serendipity (rated a 97 on BeerAdvocate) is coated with a thin wax seal and the Enigma (rated a 92) is wrapped in red foil.
Brewery notes:
Serendipity (Happy Accident): "We shared the farmer’s horror as Wisconsin’s cherry crop failed! Dan bought what cherries he could. The Apple crop fared better. Then joy! A grand Wisconsin cranberry harvest. What will Dan brew with Apples, Cranberries and Cherries? Oh my! You hold the happy accident of Wisconsin’s favorite fruit aged in oak with an almost magical wild fermentation."
Enigma: "Our Master Brewer has forged a smooth garnet tapestry that defies description."
These bottles are from my personal beer cellar and have been stored upright in a dark, cool (45-55°F) basement closet since I acquired them.
I have purchased or traded for all the beers in my collection over the past eight years. Very recently (May 2014) I began rehab treatment for alcoholism, thus I am parting with my cellar to offset medical costs and to give to charity.
Thank you for looking.
Cheers!
