Description
(3) different bottles from Captain Lawrence Brewing Company.
* Rosso e Marrone (375ml), an American Sour Ale fermented with grapes and aged in oak barrels. Cap dipped in red wax, hand-numbered Batch No. 1. (2009). Rated a 95 on BeerAdvocate and a perfect 100 on Ratebeer.
* Cuvee de Castleton (375ml), an American Wild Ale fermented with grapes and spice and aged in oak barrels. Hand-numbered Batch No. 4. Rated a 97 on BeerAdvocate and a perfect 100 on Ratebeer.
* Birra DeCicco (750ml), a sour ale brewed with chestnut honey and jam. (2010) Retired.
These bottles are from my personal beer cellar and have been stored upright in a dark, cool (45-55°F) basement closet since I acquired them.
I have purchased or traded for all the beers in my collection over the past eight years. Very recently (May 2014) I began rehab treatment for alcoholism, thus I am parting with my cellar to offset medical costs and to give to charity.
Thank you for looking.
Cheers!
