Thomas Hardy''s Ale 1989 4 Bottles (3 12 oz. Bottles and 1 Nip 6.33 oz bottle)Yes2019-11-29$165.00
I am selling 4 bottles of Thomas Hardy Ale from Vintage 1989. The lot includes 3- (12 ounce) bottles from a full case I had purchased in 1992 when they were first imported to Michigan. Also, I included a 1989 Nip size 6.33 ounce bottle as well. I was the first person to buy Hardy's in Michigan, as I convinced a store owner to call George Saxon of Phoenix Imports and arrange a distributor of craft beers back then to take on Hardy's Ale as one of their products. Back then I purchased cases of 1988, 1989, 1990, 1991 and singles of some '86 and '87. As time has passed my Hardy's has all but gone. I have less than a case of the 1989 left and a few of the bottles had the foil top either torn or gone but the caps on the bottles say Florida which when you remove the foil on any bottle they all say Florida. Florida was the port of entry for shipping Hardy's into the U.S. I sell and ship only in the mainland USA. The shipping cost for the lot will be $18.95. I guarantee these bottles to be the 1989 Thomas Hardy Ale and have stored in my cellar under my house for the entire time and the temperature doesn't fluctuate much year around. I have sold Hardy's on here before without incident and my username Mattman9 is also my Ebay username and you can see my feedback is 100%, for over a decade. 2 Bottles (Crocks) of 1991 St. Sebastiaan Crock AleYes2018-10-26$120.00
. I am selling 2- 1991 Bottles of 1.58 Pints or 25.3 ounces St. Sebastiaan Crock Ale. The St. Sebastiaan is in a Stone Crock that has the imprinted markings of MKM, which means the Stone Crock was made by the well known German Max Kruger. I purchased a case of 8 of the St. Sebastiaan back in May 1992,so it is very likely the brew date is from 1991. I actually wrote down the dates of purchase on the outside of the case and the price for it. I can't remember if I ever drank this St. Sebastiaan Crock Ale back then but it was brewed by the famous Sterkens Family Brewers. I would like to have one but I'm on a couple med's that won't allow more than a sip or two and these are large crocks and I don't want to waste a whole bottle to try it. St. Sebastiaan changed ownership and is now brewed by the Duval brewers which like Sterkens brews a lot of good Belgium Ales. Anyway, I don't know what version of St. Sebastiaan is in the crock, or if it was a different recipe altogether that is no longer brewed since there isn't a St. Sebastiaan Crock Ale to reference online or listed now. I bought so many new brews back in 1992 that I can't remember if I ever drank one to tell you the style, so it would be an interesting brew to open. Back then the craft market was just starting to take off and these imported brews hurried to craft a label for USA consumption so they probably changed the label later to be more specific of the style. I know these St. Sebastiaan brews are top fermented and they used crocks due to the fact they bottle conditioned these beers with live yeast so they wanted to be sure they could withstand the pressures of secondary fermentations in the product. I always wanted to try and culture up the yeast in the crocks and use them in my beers. The Crock and label itself would be a great collectible. I sell and ship in the mainland USA only. They have been stored in my cellar under the house and the temperatures have little fluctuation year around. I have sold Hardy's on this site without incident and I sell on Ebay with the same username and 100 % feedback for over a decade. The shipping charge will be $19.95, as the crocks are heavy. Thanks for reading.
6 Pack with Carrier Original 1990 Bell's Batch 1000Yes2018-10-23$250.00
I am selling the Real and Original Bells Beer - BATCH 1000 ,from 1990. I was one of the customers that drove 3 hours to get Bells Beer back when Larry talks about brewing in a soup kettle in an unmarked old building when they did everything by hand. I would go up and buy a 100 pound bag of grain from Larry to use in my home brewing at the time. When this batch came out I purchased a case and in those days the packaging only included a label that was same as the one used on the bottles. The bottles have been stored in my cellar under my house which remains very consistent year around. I sell and ship only in the mainland USA and will charge $19.95 to ship these. I have been a seller on here of Hardy's Ale and never had any issues and I sell on Ebay with the same username so you can see my feedback is 100% for over 10 years. I guarantee this is the Original Batch 1000 of Bells which was made in 1990. The lot includes 6 bottles with original carrier and information card signed by Larry Bell that was included in each 6 pack. The card talks about the 1000 batch milestone etc. and is hand signed. I only have one of these 6 packs with original carrier to sell. As a bonus, I will include a 12 oz. 1989 Hardy's Ale (The foil came off however, the bottle cap says Florida which is what all of the bottle caps said when Hardy's was imported to port of call in Florida and to indicate to workers that these were for export when bottled in factory. I have not seen any of this available (Batch 1000) on the secondary market, and really doubt there is anymore to be had anywhere. I realize that Bells had a 30th Anniversary a while back and brewed new versions of their numbered Batch Beers but this is the Original. 1991 Chimay Grand Reserve & 1991 St. Sebastiaan Crock AleYes2018-10-23$140.00
I am selling a lot that includes a Chimay Grand Reserve which I purchased in 1992 along with a Stone Crock of St Sebastiaan Crock Ale. The Chimay is a 1 Pint and 9.4 ounces in size and the Cork is dated 8-91 which means it was bottled in August of 1991. The St Sebastiaan is 25.3 fluid ounces and is in a Stone Crock that has the markings of MKM which means the Stone Crock was made by the well known German Max Kruger. I purchased a case of 8 of the St. Sebastiaan back in May 1992 so it is very likely the brew date is from 1991. I sell and ship only in the mainland USA and will charge $19.95 to ship these as the crock is very heavy. If you have questions or want to contact me directly mmason1169@gmail.com Thanks for reading
1991 Bottle of Liefmans FrambozenbierYes2018-10-19$80.00
I am selling a bottle (12.7 oz.) of 1991 Liefmans Frambosenbier. This is something you will likely never see again on the secondary market. I purchased this when Liefmans first came to be distributed in Michigan. Liefmans made some really unique brews and this is one of them. It's my understanding that Liefmans no longer brews this since Moortgat took over the Liefmans brand. Hopefully they will bring it back one day. I store my beer in a cellar under my house and it stays at a fairly consistent temperature year around and it's been there for a long time with my Hardy's and some other specialty ales. I sell and ship only in the mainland USA and will ship for $13.95. I have sold some Hardy's on this site in the past and have never had an issue and have the same username on Ebay where you can see my perfect feedback for over a decade. If you have questions or wish to purchase you can contact me at my email address- mmason1169@gmail.com Thanks for reading
